Founding Director for the Geodesign Research Centre. Supervisor for Master Candidates in Urban and Rural Planning, Environmental Design, and PhD Candidates in Geographic Information Sciences (GISci). As the founding director of the Geodesign Research Centre at Jiangxi Normal University, I serve as an appointed expert for the random evaluation of degree theses across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels by the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center under the Ministry of Education. I also act as a peer reviewer for projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, a distinguished expert at the Emergency Research Institute of China Telecom, and a member of the International Geographic Congress (IGC) Greater China Region. Furthermore, I am included in the expert databases of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Jiangxi Provincial Forestry Bureau, Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, and Nanchang High-tech Zone Management Committee. My longstanding involvement encompasses peer review responsibilities for initiatives pertaining to scenic areas and world heritage sites, national parks and nature reserves, as well as ancient and famous trees. Presently, I hold positions as a committee member of the Garden Plants and Ancient and Famous Trees Professional Committee within the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Garden Plants Professional Committee, and member of the Jiangxi Provincial Nature Reserves Professional Committee, Jiangxi Provincial Ancient and Famous Trees Professional Committee, and Jiangxi Provincial Scenic Areas Professional Committee. Within the international scholarly community, I contribute as a peer reviewer or guest editor for over ten SCI/SSCI-indexed journals. |
